Awards are presented to students to recognise and celebrate their achievements.
These can be presented in a variety of forms, including class awards, Principal awards, teachers’ special stamps and stickers, visits to other classes and teachers’ special comments. They recognise individual, group and class achievements.
During the year, the school holds assemblies and events that celebrate student achievement. These include weekly core value (CARE) assemblies, whole-school assemblies held week 3, 6 and 9 of each term, Annual Education Week assembly, NAIDOC Week assembly and Presentation Ceremonies.
Sporting achievements is also recognised at sporting events and during assemblies over the year. Awards are given to school champions, zone, regional and state representatives.
